🐶Puppy Love🐶
If you are reading this, you know that puppies are the most adorable things in the world. But did you know that they love you equally back? Here are this month's five cute fun facts:
- Puppies can help you focus. Although it is counter-intuitive, looking at cute puppy pictures while working can actually increase your productivity. So, don't be afraid! If a colleague wonders why you spend your time looking at puppy photos, tell them it is making you work more efficiently.
- Baby dogs can't see or hear. Newborn dogs cannot hear until about 4 weeks, and it takes around 6 weeks from their eyes to develop. Even though they can't hear or see you, do not be discouraged. You can keep on loving newborn pups as they can still feel your love through your warmth and touch.
- Breeds matter. There is a lot of difference between different types of dogs. It changes their personality, food choices, people preferences, and how quickly they become afraid of a sound or action. Now, next time you get a dog, do some research. First find out which breed is right for you, then you can cuddle up and play!
- You can teach an old dog new tricks (sorta). Studies have shown that the older a dog is, the more responsive they are to cuing hand gestures. If your young puppy isn't learning the tricks you are trying to teach him or her, do not worry. With age, they will learn the trick soon enough.
- Your dog does love you too. If you have ever wanted a pet wolf, you might want to reconsider it. Wolves who were raised by humans from birth reacted the same way to strangers as they did to their owners. Dogs, on the other hand, started showing affection for their owners after only 4 months. If you ever have questioned the intention of the love in your dog's eyes, know it is for you, not your food.
